Preparation

To avoid disappointment if you have a wedding, holiday, date or anything that requires de-hairing or nice nails please try and book as early as possible as I do want to fit you in. 
Saying that, please still call/text/email to check current availability.

 

Cancellation

Please be aware that we operate a 48 hour cancellation policy on treatments you will be charged 50% within this time and 100% if you cancel on the day of your appointment or fail to show. If part of a booking is cancelled or changed please give me at least 48 hours notice so I am able to offer that appointment to another client..

 

Punctuality

Please allow time to get to your appointment. Out of consideration for other clients, clients who are more than 15 minutes late for an appointment will have their appointment shortened or may have to be re-scheduled.

Data Security

Personal details taken from clients during consultation procedures will be kept safe and in the strictest confidence. We would like to send you details of events and special promotions. If you would rather not receive these please let us know. 

 

Children

All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied or supervised by an adult. Due to the nature of the salon we ask you not to bring babies and toddlers to the salon.

 

Mobile Phones

To ensure you have the most relaxing time possible Nu-Yu respectably ask that you turn your mobile phone to silent or off during your treatment.

 

Waxing

Shower two or more hours before waxing. Do not have heat treatments or undertake exercise on the day of waxing.

 

Eyelash/Eyebrow Tint

Patch testing is required for clients who have never had eyelash/brow tinting. 

 

CACI

If you need to wear make-up after your treatment, it is recommended that you only wear 100% mineral make-up, such as Jane Iredale, available at Nu-Yu. After Microdermabrasion it is extremely important to wear a high Spf on the skin and stay out of the sun.

 

Dermatude Meta Therapy

Avoid wearing make-up  for 24 hours, then preferably wear 100% mineral makeup. Avoid direct sunlight and follow homecare advise alongside treatment cream.

 

Food

Always allow at least one hour to digest your meal before having a body treatment.

 

Alcohol

Never consume alcohol before treatment.

 

Medical Conditions

If you have any of the following, it is essential that you tell me before treatment: 
Pacemaker, Heart Condition, Diabetes, Allergies, Epilepsy, Pregnancy (even if the rest of the world is oblivious, please tell me), Metal Plates/Pins, Coil, Warts or Verrucas. Or anything serious not mentioned

 

Salon Offers, Discounts and Competitions

Offers and discounts may not be used in conjunction with another salon offer or discount. 

Cancellation Policy applies to all gift vouchers.

Competitions - No cash or other alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Offers and promotions apply to one person and one service per visit and are not accumulable. 

Unless stated otherwise, offers and discounts can only be used once

Offers and promotions can not be used on a course of treatments.

Offers on courses of treatment must be completed within six months.

Gift Vouchers

Perfect for Birthdays, Christmas, Easter, Mothers and Fathers Day or just to say ' Thank you' 

Gift Vouchers are non-refundable and are valid for 6 months from the purchase date and will not be accepted after the expiry date. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, sold or transferred. Your must bring along your voucher to your appointment. Late cancellation and "failure to show" terms as laid out above also apply to gift vouchers. 

Gift vouchers are also exempt from salon offers and promotions.
